Position Available – Quality assurance

(Seasonal, FULL TIME POSITION)

Kalamazoo Flower Group is seeking candidates to become Quality Assurance for our distribution warehouse in Galesburg, MI. This is an hourly wage, seasonal position, paying $12/hour, beginning in mid-March and running through early June. Weekly hours will vary from 40 hours (M-F) with additional hours required (M-Sat), depending on shipping schedule. Candidates must be willing to work weekends and holidays.

Quality Assurance is responsible for inspecting and assuring the quality of all products being shipped on our dock. Ideal candidates will be self motivated, able to multitask, communicate clearly with others, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be reliable and dedicated to the goal of meeting daily quality goals. 

Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to kneel, bend, climb stairs, stand for long periods and maneuver a full flower cart (on wheels).
• Must be available days, evenings (as needed based on the shipping schedule), and weekends and holidays in the peak seasons.
• Must be flexible in their daily schedule to allow for 12-15+ hour days during peak times.
• Must be 18+ years of age and have a H.S. diploma or equivalent.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have basic computer skills.
